Racing – there is always something. On board GLISSE, the Swan 62, it was no different. We had the start (we thought) until the main halyard blew, and 20 minutes later after the captain was up the rig, we chased the rest of the fleet right in to a hole on the backside of the Island, and about 12 of us parked for about an hour. So, what happens then – you have lunch, you turn on the reggae music, and watch the bubbles go by! But when the wind did come back, we had a great ride back in to Edgartown Harbor. Surprising to us all, we were the best Edgartown Yacht Club boat on corrected time, and had a very happy owner.
