The speedy Najad 332 ‘HOPE” , with its carbon rig, and a very well sorted crew led by Dr Michael Leland is quite the force to reckon with on Lake Michigan, and has been for quite a while now. Last year it was first in class, first in division in the 2014 Chicago Mac.
So, how to top that ?
Well. How about the Chicago SuperMac. which does the Chicago Mac course, crosses that finish line, and then keeps going to Port Huron.
Hope was not only first in class – but first in fleet!
She beat the Volvo 60 Il Mostro, a couple of TP52’s, and a whole slew of ‘normal’ boats.
