If you think boats are expensive, you haven’t seen anything! This past weekend was Coaching in Newport, an event that happens every three years. These restored coaches from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s arrive for four days, parading around town and having various exhibitions. It is a moment in history that you rarely would have an opportunity to see, with the horns blowing, the ladies in their hats, and the hunting attire. The horses are also some of the finest in the world, and they are gleaming. It is apparently good luck to have a grey horse in the mix! Their storage containers – well, they are 18 wheelers……
