Great sailing and comfort is assured for everyone on-board the Moody 41 Aft Cockpit, the only aft cockpit yacht in the fleet. She combines classic and traditional looks of a flat superstructure with design features that bring her into the modern age. The design of the yacht is to provide quick, safe and comfortable cruising, be it long distance or short coastal hops.
Comfortable cruising is provided from the safety of the cockpit thanks to her fixed sturdy windscreen and protected cockpit. Twin helms keep the cockpit wonderfully open and spacious and allow her to be very easily sailed shorthanded for a 41ft yacht. The mainsheet traveller sits forward of the cockpit keeping the cockpit clear and safe. The 41 AC also features electric primary Lewmar winches and a Selden 2-spreader swept back spreader mast, with a roller furling self-tacking headsail, which makes sailing a breeze. On deck, there are a variety of options and she is available with laid teak, or optional Flexiteek decking. The transom has a fold down swim platform making getting on and off a breeze while creating a safe enclosed cockpit.
There are options a plenty and the standard engine is a 40hp Volvo with sail drive, but there is of course the option to size up to a 55hp should you wish. Deep and shallow bulb keels are available, the standard being 1.99m or the shallower option of 1.65m.
Below decks, you experience a fine and handmade interior with a choice of woods and finishes, LED lighting on dimmers, and a Corian worktop in the galley. There are multiple layout options depending on your needs. Whether that be 3 or 2 cabins or 1 or 2 heads, one of which can be en-suite. There is even the option of bunks in the forepeak depending on what your use for her is. The saloon is spacious with U-shaped seating and table offset to starboard. To port is a large chart table or work area. A well laid out galley sits aft of the saloon with the choice of all the mod-cons you would need.
A yacht with timeless design and features, beautifully constructed and ready to take you cruising.
