2025 Axopar 37 XC, RUSH is powered by twin upgraded Mercury 400s, equipped with the Brabus Line package, aft cabin, and reverse cycle air conditioning with heat. The 37 XC is built around its enclosed pilothouse, with sliding side doors and a retractable roof that let you keep it closed up in rough or colder conditions, or open everything up when the weather’s right. With the added climate control, it’s comfortable to use as a year-round boat. It’s quick to plane, handles chop well, and has a comfortable cruise thanks to the stepped hull design.
The layout is straightforward and easy to use, with a functional helm area, large foredeck, and an open aft section that can be set up depending on how you plan to use the boat. Below deck, there’s a forward cabin with enclosed head, and the aft cabin gives you a second sleeping area or additional storage. Overall, it’s a practical setup for someone looking for a mix of performance, weather protection, and overnight capability.
The twin Mercury 400s have low engine hours, with transferable warranties valid through 2032. In 2026, the boat’s battery system was upgraded to 900Ah MAN Powers lithium batteries, allowing the induction stove and air conditioning to operate without shore power.
The first owner kept RUSH on a lift inside an enclosed boathouse. The current owner purchased the boat in July 2026 and has kept her on a mooring in Rhode Island.
The Axopar 37 is world-renowned for its amazing speed and handling, paired with unprecedented comfort thanks to its large, fully protected cabin. This very recent 2025 model, with almost all possible options, is distinctive among others on the market for two reasons.
One is that it’s the only one with twin Mercury 400 HP engines, as compared to the normal 350s. With better fuel economy, higher top speed, and superior acceleration and power, these engines add another dimension to the boat.
Second, because the 37 normally comes with an AGM 160 amp-hour battery system and a nominal inverter/charger, none of the AC options (AC/Heat, water heater, and induction stovetop—all spec’d for this 37) will run without shore power. Furthermore, with only about 70 amp-hours of usable battery power, charging with the engines is necessary for a stay away from a dock for more than a day. We solved this problem by professionally installing the following: three lithium Epoque 300 amp-hour batteries, a Victron 3000-watt inverter / 100-amp charger, and a DC/DC converter to ensure smart charging from the engines. With about 700 usable amp-hours and the ability to use all three AC options, we’re able to spend days away from hot, crowded docks enjoying all aspects of this 37 without the need for charging. (This was a $17,000 upgrade).
We enjoyed this 37 so much, we’re buying the new Axopar 38.
The new crossover that challenges convention in both looks and onboard functionality, bringing a new era to all-weather boating. This model combines the functionality, ease of movement, social outdoor and indoor spaces, and versatility of outboard walkaround centre-consoles with a spacious, fully enclosed weather-proofed cabin that, with distinctive looks, challenges traditional perceptions of cabin boats. We consider the 37 XC to be the Gran Turismo of the seas, opening a world of possibilities for safe, extended voyages in comfort even in unpredictable weather.
