Solaris 44

The Solaris 44 saw its debut at the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival and has proved to be a very popular yacht. Over 30 have been built and their popularity continues. The hull shape and design of the Solaris 44 was first seen on the Solaris 55 with the now trademark Solaris soft chine and carrying her full beam aft to the transom. Her twin rudders provide great grip on the water and of course, the outboard twin helms allow for fantastic visibility down the decks. Her sailing performance speaks for itself and she is perfectly balanced at sea.

On deck, she has a recessed furler for the self-tacking jib with all lines led back to the cockpit under the deck. She also has a very roomy sail locker up forward, lockers in the cockpit and a large transom locker. Access to the water is by a large fold down transom platform.

Below decks, you gain a bit more space than the Solaris 40, as to be expected, and the owner’s cabin forward features a palatial centreline double with side access to the berth and of course, en-suite heads and shower as standard. The twin aft cabins have a couple of different layout options to suit whatever your family needs may be. In the saloon, you have an L shaped galley to port and option of a forward or outboard facing chart table to starboard.

The main ethos, as with all Solaris yachts, is that they allow for fast cruising with a reduced crew thanks to everything being easily managed from the cockpit. Build quality is at the same level of her bigger sisters and all her bulkheads are fully laminated to the hull and deck.

A fantastic family cruiser that can be easily sailed with a full crew or single-handed with ease.
