An invitation you never turn down, a chance to spend an evening on the “house on the rocks”, a well known landmark to sailors as they enter Newport. Originally built by the family that founded the Wharton School of Business, she perches on a rock just outside of Jamestown Boat Yard, who runs the shuttle back and forth. The view is superb, with a 360 degree panorama, Newport with Castle Hill and Fort Adams across the bay, the Newport bridge on another side, the passage out to the Atlantic on the third, and Jamestown Harbor to finish off.
