Congratulations to our friends who have successfully completed the 2015 Trans-Atlantic Race. Special congrats to Kyle Hubley on the Class 40 DRAGON. Kyle purchased his own Class 40 through Berthon USA, but hopped on board DRAGON for the race. Per the NYYC news: winning the unofficial doublehanded sub-division of the Class 40 was Michael Hennessy’s Owen Clarke-designed Dragon, with Kyle Hubley, racing doublehanded arriving in 11 days 20 hours and 12 minutes, 1 day and 13 hours after the Class 40 winner Stella Nova.
Also congratulations to Jack Madden, on board his Swan 60 LADY B, and 2nd place winner in the Cruising Division. Jack has purchased two brokerage Swans from Berthon UK, and with a lovely, comfortable cruising yacht with a well equipped galley, they suffered no hardships when it came to eating. Despite having done Newport to Bermuda Races, this was his first Trans-Atantic race, and although he wished for more sun, all was good and nothing was broken!
