The Mainship 30 is a popular and trusted downeast style power cruiser, great for cruising, fishing, diving and family fun. She has a big volume for her size, and has the classic downeast interior layout of a v-berth/dinette, port side galley and a spacious head on the starboard side. Woodwork is in oiled teak, with a teak and holly sole. The galley has a front opening fridge, sink with hot and cold water, and alcohol/electric 2 burner stove top. There is also a built-in microwave. The helm deck has pilot and co-pilot seats, with bench seat/sunbeds behind. The aft cockpit is large. ISLAND GIRL has a rigid frame top with a canvas bimini attached that extends from over the helm, to the forward part of the aft cockpit. A door opens out to the swim platform.
At the helm, there is a plotter, VHF, autopilot, engine and thruster controls.
The first owner used the boat sparingly in Virginia. The second owner had the boat from 2011 to 2021 and the boat was always kept on a boatlift in front of his house in North Carolina. The current owner is a marine industry corporate professional, and professional sailor. He went through the boat when he bought it and replaced or upgraded a lot. The boat came on her own bottom up the ICW and into New England. She is well maintained and in excellent condition, ready for New England waters and beyond.
You will not be disappointed!
I am a corporate executive with North Sails, and I sail professionally. I wanted a powerboat for myself, to cruise with my family, and also as a boat to use for fishing. This boat replaced my former smaller Grady White. I’ve always kept the boat in great shape, and the engine has been professionally maintained by Corliss Diesel. I am now looking for a bigger powerboat.
