MIADELITA is a loaded example of the extremely popular and cleverly designed Moody DS54. Delivered in the spring of 2018, the boat has sailed the Baltic, Med, a transatlantic crossing and then the Caribbean and US East coast. She is Swiss flagged and US duty paid. Extremely easy to sail, but fast, the boat has twin electric furlers, a self-tacking jib and electric in mast furling. The massive, light, and open saloon is amazingly comfortable, with a custom tabletop and a second settee/sea berth to starboard. MIADELITA features the large galley down version, which is rare amongst her sisterships. Interior woodwork is in American Cherry.
From forward there is a sail locker, then the owner’s cabin with a large centerline berth and en-suite head and shower. Next aft is the large guest cabin to port and long lower galley to starboard. The galley has two drawer fridges and two drawer freezers, a built-in coffee maker and microwave.
Aft of the saloon is a third twin berth cabin, another head and washer dryer. In the cockpit is a large cockpit locker, which contains the watermaker and under the rear deck is a dinghy stowage area, accessible via the hydraulic fold down swim platform. Custom fold up helm seats increases the rear deck area.
The boat is fully equipped with a generator, air conditioning, diesel heating system, hydraulic passarelle, electric toilets, sat com, gennaker flexiteek decks, lithium batteries and much, much more. The replacement cost would be around $1.7m at least.
Offered to co-brokers on a commission split of 50/50.
MIADELITA is my first boat and I immediately fell in love with the unique Moody DS54 design at the 2017 Düsseldorf boat show. I have spent a lot of time on board, and she is absolutely fun to sail, great to be on, plus I singlehanded a lot of the time. I am now ready to go and hike the Pacific trail and do some RVing for my next adventures!
